Association Boards are volunteer positions, yet they carry significant financial and legal responsibility. These volunteers often do not have the legal expertise needed to navigate complex legal issues.
This program will review why Associations are parties to a lawsuit on both sides of the fence. This program will cover the most frequent reasons that Associations file lawsuits or why they are sued themselves.
Discussion will include information from the Attorney General's Office and information about Maryland court procedures.
In addition, presenters will walk through the Maryland Court System and provide an update on recent changes to case law.
